A Real Hidden Gem We had a wonderful time at the Grandview Lodge. It was just the type of quiet getaway we were looking for. The folks who run the place were very nice and welcoming, and the food was truly excellent. I recommend eating there, and no other place in Waynesville. The price and quality was really special-- only problem is the restaurant...

Not a True B and B The main reason we were okay (rated average) with this stay was the fact that we paid a groupon price for 2 nights and that the main lodge area was very nice and the innkeepers were pleasant. However, if you look at their changed website, they no longer claim to be a B and B as I believe their previous...

Would have been better had we stayed the whole time We were upgraded to the ferguson room which was nice but then found out the whole lodge had been booked for a wedding. Double booked. We were very politely given a refund and a request to find alternate accommodations. Still we were able to make a campfire the previous night and had a good time overall.

Pleasant & Rustic We really had no complaints during our stay; our room was comfortable and quiet, and the inn/innkeepers pleasant. We weren't too excited about the layout of the property, however; I think we anticipated that we'd be staying in the Inn but were, rather, in a long row of motel room/cabins away from the Inn itself. In all, I'd feel comfortable...

Peaceful Mountain Retreat Enjoyed two nights at Grandview Lodge. Friendly innkeepers and plentifully good breakfasts. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Welcomed like family Our stay was wonderful. Breakfast was yummy. The rooms were lovely. But most important was the friendly environment. Being from Florida, was cold without a jacket and was loaned one by the owners. When we asked what we should do for the day, we were given several options and excelent directions. Close to blue ridge parkway, the most beautiful drive...

Mountain vacay with hubby The room (medford) was spacious, very nice and clean. Bathroom was clean. There was a closet off to the side of the room it was a little creepy....other than that we had a marvelous time. It was our first time at a B&B so we really didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful for the guy...

Happy Birthday Weekend Grandview Lodge is a small independent lodge. We spent my husband's birthday weekend there and had a great time. The small do-it-all staff consists of folks from the over-50 crowd and we thoroughly enjoyed them. They were very hospitable and friendly, and aimed to please at all times.
