Used to love it Been coming here on and off for almost 20 yrs. Been to the Lake Ray Hubbard and Frisco locations, too. Something's happened with the management and service and it's not good!. Cajun? Not really Anyone who believes that this is great Cajun food has never eaten real Cajun food. The Dirty Rice was flavorless rice with a few dried up pieces of unidentifiable meat. It was so old that the rice could have been mistaken for bits of broken teeth, which I almost had trying to eat this dish. The Jambalaya was white rice...
We love this place.. – For anyone who has not tried out this great place, you better get there ASAP. Besides the fact that the food is awesome, the waitstaff is wonderful. If you are lucky enough to get Kelly as a server you are going to get the best treatment ever. Kelly and Mikey work together on Sunday nights and it is our favorite time to go in and get our cajun fix. Thanks Dodies for such great food and the best two waitresses in Texas.
Great New Orleans grub in Dallas – The BEST fried Oysters anywhere bar none, the staff is attentive and extremely friendly, this place has a cult neighborhood following and the locals know why. Cold beers and authentic cajun style food, their no mayo cole slaw is full of fresh garlic and unique I have purchased a quart to go-- who gets cole slaw to go yep it's that good.
