Best casual southern LA food in Dallas. Everything on menu is good. Been coming here when it was original Dodie's in the early 2000s.

Great meal! We had the blackened catfish poboy, cajun tamales, house salad and crawfish etoufee. We thought it tasted authentic and was DELICIOUS! Our main comment was, we went during Sunday...

The best creole around. The oysters Iberville is great and the fried green tomatoes are amazing. The gumbo is to die for.

Took some clients and associates to lunch at Dodie's and the meal was same quality as previous visits. We enjoyed the blackened catfish po boy, with cup of seafood gumbo, crawfish étouffée, all meals were tasty. Not the fanciest restaurant, but food quality is consistent, which is why we keep going back.

Dodie's has a great menu of New Orleans traditional dishes, the lunch menu has some good combinations of food. Had a half po boy of blackened catfish with a cup of gumbo. The gumbo was good, my favorite gumbo has a darker rue base, Dodie's is what I would call a more medium based gumbo. There were plenty shrimp in...

Cajun in the heart of Dallas Had the chicken and sausage combo. It was really good. A few to many celery pieces for me, but otherwise spot on. My friend actually liked the amount of celery....can't please everyone. We had the special of shrimp and jalapeños wrapped in bacon and they were really really good. I finished off with the special of blacken checkin salad which...
