Great beers Stan's is a bit of a college bar and the one thing I love is the fact is has carried on for years. One of our favorite things is the amount of beers on tap.
I love this place BUT I go here alot. I live out of state. I was there on January 17th 2009. Some bikers were hanging around and they stole my cell phone [Blackberry Storm] and my digital camera [Canon] right off the bar and I was sitting right there. Just be wary of the shifty people that might be hanging close by and keep your belongings close by. Other than that this bar is alot of fun. I agree with Samrat. The chili cheese dip is the best in town! The age group is not varied though. It's becoming more of a great hangout for the college crowd especially on the weekends. The school spirit can't be beat!!! Great energy at the bar when they play alternative contemporary music. Love the 150 beer selection!!!
Great College Scene Stan's is a great place for the college crowd. With its terrific selection of more than 150 beers, it's a college rite of passage to learn about them all! The atmosphere can't be beat whether you are casual or dressed up. The only drawback is there are a few regulars that sit at the bar table, complete with gold chains and 70's haircuts. The bars are expansive though and they are pretty harmless if you ignore them. Try the chili-cheese dip, it's the best in town!
Stan's is a great place, the staff is always friendly. Love the atmosphere very laid-back and I always feel like family there.The age group of customers is varied, making me feel right at home. The food is so delicious, the taco salad is extremely yummy. I am a vegetarian but am able to get it made more to fit my needs and it is mouth-watering. One of my favorites on Greenville Stan's is one of my favorite places to go down on Greenville. The crowd's always fun. I've been to two bachlorette parties there and we had a great time with the crowd. It's laid back, easygoing and a genuinely good time.
too crowded go if you like a thousand people hitting on each other. go somewhere else if you don't.
