Wynkoop Brewing Company is a big, buzzy spot right by Union Station with loads of seating and that classic American brewpub feel. Easy, relaxed, and exactly what you want for a quick pit stop after a day wandering around the city. So much that we ended up there twice during our time in Denver! Wynkoop was very busy when I visited on. Saturday before a Rockies/Cubs game. There was tons of Cubs fans packing the place so I don't know if my review is fair as to what you could experience. There is lots of space to sit, both inside and out but my party and I were just there for a drink so we stood. On ball game days, drafts are an amazing $4, which is hard to beat. The food was very fresh & portions were large. It was super busy (@ home Broncos game) so food took a while but the servers were attentive & friendly. Large selection of beer & varied menu. Great location across from Union Station. We will be back!
Did not try the food. Just walked in for a couple of beers while waiting for our reservation nearby. Friendly staff. They had a nice selection of in house beers on tap. When I asked about the beer flights I was told that I could just choose any 4 I wanted. They had a nice upstairs area with plenty of pool tables, seating, and TV screens.
Super cool space! Happy hour classic bar food. Beer was tasty and the space is awesome. We came at an off time with our travel schedule so it was quiet but would love to go back when the pool hall is full or before a game!
