We had a phenomenal dining experience Saturday night. It was our first time here and we decided to do the Chef Tasting Menu. What a great way to get an ample variety of the menu. We also had all three non-alcoholic mocktails and the lemon drop. Our server, Julien, and those bussing/servicing the table had great timing and were all attentive. What an amazing foodie experience!! A top 10 without question. Went with the tasting menu and OMG every course was simply amazing! The baked potatoe is unearthly. Paired with a bottle of Chenin Blanc each plate delivered on taste, creativity and presentation. Julian was great, every bit as knowledgeable and friendly. Really top notch service. A trendy Japanese restaurant with a beautiful river view and a spacious terrace. The menu is quite interesting, and the interior boasts a modern design. The service was excellent throughout our visit. The restaurant specializes in a variety of smoked and grilled meat dishes, as well as Asian appetizers. Spectacular location on the river with vibrant vibes and great views. Highlight of the meal was the smoked pastrami short rib - smokey and flavorful. The crispy squid a was meaty and delicious but nothing new. The roasted cauliflower disappointed without enough roasting and street corn felt like it never knew it was supposed to be street food. The crispy ribs and pork belly were good, but you've tasted it before. Come for the smoked meats and the views.
