This place is always super crowded- just keep that in mind. Be prepared to wait in line and then be shoulder to shoulder everywhere inside. Prices for drinks aren’t too bad and they taste pretty average. They always have good live music and we’ve met pretty good people. It’s a good mix between a grungy, edge-y place and a more upscale place. Kind of like a cooler Brothers. The women’s bathroom wait lines are ridiculously long so definitely plan for that.
Rolled into Tin Roof around 2pm, which is basically the golden hour for people who enjoy good food and personal space. The bar staff were very dishonest. I left my card and my account open, and I kept consuming. In the end, they charged me for 12 cans of High Noon, when I only drank 5. I questioned this, and a waiter came and said I had consumed 8, so he swiped my card charging me for 8 when in fact it was 5. If I consumed 5, they charged me for 8, so why did they give me a bill for 12? This situation is regrettable. Popped in for a drink and they had some live music going. The band was good, Pom Teddy I believe. Good cover stuff, which enhanced the experience. Wouldn't call it a dive bar because it's obviously manufactured to look like one, but it worked. Service was solid. Adequate beer selection and a lot of space to spread out.
