The staff was awesome, service was great, and the atmosphere and views were a big plus. We started with fried pickles, cheese bites, and buffalo cauliflower—solid appetizers. Drinks (beers and cocktails) were good as well. For dinner, the create-your-own pasta with blackened shrimp and Cajun sauce was delicious (8.5/10), though the shrimp were small but plentiful. This place is nothing like the old restaurant, they have great decorations, the tables and all around atmosphere is a western southern style. My wife and I enjoyed that. I got chicken fried steak, she a chicken salad. She was not a fan of the dressing, but it was one she had never tried before, but not a fault of the Rack house. All in all, good food. Oh and the stuffed French toast was excellent 👌

I’ve lived in The Colony my whole life, and I’ve seen this place be a lot of things. I can confidently say that The Rackhouse is BY FAR my favorite restaurant that it’s every been!! It’s a great place just to have dinner or lunch but it’s also an amazing place to host your next event!! We just had our baby shower here and it was perfect! They have the best private room upstairs with a balcony that has one of the BEST views in TC! We were invited to the Rackhouse to celebrate a birthday. I’m an avid reviewer so I start my observation once I arrive. Upon arrival, the entrance is difficult to locate. With another busy restaurant next door, it creates a little confusion. When entering, the place was relatively full but not loud. We were escorted to the patio reserved area. Big place, very much fun. Lots of TVs live music. I had the ribeye steak, which was as good as you can expect from a $36 ribeye. Had a great flavor and was not overcooked. I sat at the bar. The seats are pretty comfortable. The part that waited on me did an excellent job took care of my needs in a quick fashion. Don’t usually get dessert, but I had the carrot cake. Very large easily for two people and also excellent.
