This is tough to only leave a 3 star review, because the food was very good. However so many areas were “opportunities for improvement” It started right away as I scooted into our booth. I put my hand down and there was a large chunk of “something” in the corner that was damp. From the moment of arrival, the experience was exceptional. We selected this establishment for a birthday celebration, seeking a novel dining experience. We had an amazing dining experience from start to finish! BIG PLUS for them having full HALAL menu. We started with a refreshing Strawberry Mojito. For appetizers, we ordered the Carpaccio, Seared Ahi Tuna, and the Wedge Salad. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. I had dinner at Leams Steakhouse while visiting Dallas, and it was outstanding from start to finish. I ordered the ribeye rare, and they absolutely nailed it. The steak was beautifully cooked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. I also had the wedge salad, asparagus, and broccoli, and every side was fresh and prepared just as well as the steak. A sudden decision on the laye evening of a scorching Wednesday. A tastefully thinly lit restaurant greeted us. The waitress was gracious and helped put us at ease on our "halal" anxieties. We indulged in the steak bites appetizer, while waiting for my rib eye and the rack of lamb for my wife. The truffle potatoes were the chosen side, with my side eye on the "double baked potato" that came with the rack. Everything was perfect,mains and sides. I'd put Liam's, a smidge above Knife. Can't wait to be there again.
