Came here for the music as Karma house now has an open jazz & poetry jam every Friday, inheriting from The Pearl. However, I stayed no more than 3 min before I was basically kicked out of the bar. As I walked in, one of the bartenders eyed me down like a hawk, making me very uncomfortable. I started coming here for Unity Collective but the sick vibes, hours, good music, and incredible bar tenders are why I now spend my time studying here. The bartenders I've talked with have always been people to me first and a person benefiting from my tips second, at least in my experience of them. Tea, Bear, and Red are not only knowledgeable about what they're serving, but cool people to talk to. First kava bar i became a regular at and it's like a dysfunctional second home, they've replaced a lot of people but i give a high rating because everybody is still great and they do try to make your stay awesome and feeling welcome is the vibe I want. The bar is usually full and there's not much overflow seating which usually sucks and they do have a giant backroom but it's always fill of activies going on so not often I get to overflow back there, but if you do those activities they're one of the best in that regard as the... read more

This is an amazing spot to chill and get out of the weather! Have a drink and relax! The environment is very lax and safe!! I am in love with this place and their drinks!!!! Kava kava ,kanna, kratom!!! Coffee!! U name it they have it!!
