The food is really good, I had the Loaded Scramble (in photo) and my daughter had the Caramel Roll pancakes !! Service was awesome, very caring and kind. We had a spill and the other server that was passing at the moment ignored us when we told her, but our server came and assisted us with a loving heart, really nice!!! And the coffee… yum yum!!! It’s a bit pricey for the size but it delivers in flavor. Forgot to mention… the biscuit is SOOOO GOOD!!!
Copperfield is an absolute standout for breakfast and brunch. Everything we ordered was fantastic, and it’s one of those places where you can tell real thought went into every dish. We tried the Mexican hash, the avocado toast, biscuits and gravy, and the mixed berry crepes, and there wasn’t a weak link on the table. The Mexican hash was especially impressive. Went based on good reviews and being somewhat close by, but quite disappointed. Had to flag down waitress for everything including drink refills. Food was ok but certainly not worth driving out of the way for. Salad description talks about all the different vegetables but really was just some shredded romaine and small bit of other vegetables. Got the Mac Daddy burger and was dry and hardly any seasoning, “perfectly-seasoned burger is the juiciest in town” is certainly a stretch.
Really cute venue. Wonderful service. I had the sunrise bowl with poached eggs. The eggs were over cooked so not really any yolk and the biscuit underneath was pretty hard. Husband had the biscuits and gravy and said the were good. The short stack pancake is huge. I'd suggest asking for regular butter instead of the cinnamon butter but thats just my personal preference.
This is our goto restaurant when we're in the Twin Cities to meet up with our son. They have a wonderful selection for breakfast. I had the short stack. It was too much for me! VERY, very good flavor. Did I mention the bottomless coffee? AWESOME!
