100% gluten free restaurant. Had a delicious dinner last night at Teocalli. All of the food was well prepared and just right portion size. The service was attentive without making us feel rushed. We had the salsa trio (the pineapple one is hot but so good), birria, carne asada, and tacos. All of it was delicious! The churros and banana split were a perfect finish.
So sad I don’t remember our servers name but he was great! The food was so good and affordable for where it is located. The place is aesthetic and has nice outdoor seating. The carne asada taco and the mango habanero ceviche is a must try! For dessert I would skip the churros they weren’t that good but overall I great experience. We will be back!
10/10 experience. Lindsay was great and made us feel right at home. It’s entirely gluten free which was such a nice surprise and the food was incredible. Tacos are my favorite and my fiance and I will make it a new regular happy hour spot. Don’t skip out on the birria tacos and guacamole!!
Teocalli Cocina LoHi is amazing. The food was insanely good — I got the carne asada and it was cooked perfectly to a medium rare, super flavorful. The guac and appetizers were really good too, and everything came out fresh. The vibe inside is dope, especially for New Year’s, and the service was really nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend the deserts! Overall just a great spot for Mexican food in Denver. Definitely coming back. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
For a break from the typical Tex-Mex found in most of the run of the mill Mexican establishments in Denver, Teocalli is a wonderful authentic Mexican choice. The location is ideal in LoHi almost next door the the Little Man Ice Cream shop. The drinks are superb, the food is traditional Mexican resort fare with many styles of individual tacos that can be ordered a la carte. The service is "ok", and while very friendly, seems to be stretched a bit thin. The Queso Fundito is a winner.
