This place is so cool! We used to go there when it was just Surf City and always enjoyed it. But now… wow! The decorations are so fun- tiki vibes and ocean everywhere. They recently made this a sit-down restaurant and added new options to the menu. It was a great change! The service was great. The food was delicious- we got the bowls and the Korean street fries. They also have some great drink options! This place is a nice change from all the other places around. Highly recommend.

We’ve visited Surf City several times both before and after the renovations, and the upgrades to the interior and patio look amazing. The atmosphere is fun, relaxing, and has the perfect island vibe with great music, tiki cocktails, and delicious food. The Johnny Utah sandwich was really good, and the pork belly fried rice was absolutely delicious. The Painkiller and Mai Tai are also two of our favorite cocktails. What a fun place to eat! The place is small but packed with so many island-pirate decorations that you forget how small it is. The island theme even extends into the bathrooms. Loved it! The staff is super friendly. Want a drink? There’s no shortage of fun drinks here. The cocktail menu is quite extensive! The food is good, although they were out of some menu items. We went on a Sunday, so that’s understandable. But what we got was delicious. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend you check this place out.

Such a gem for the neighborhood! This tiki bar is exactly what our area needed. The drinks are incredibly creative, the service is consistently fantastic, and the whole place nails the tiki vibe with fun, thoughtful indoor décor. You can tell it’s a local business that really cares about its craft and its community, which makes it even better. Highly recommend stopping in for their happy hour specials—they’re a great value and a perfect excuse to unwind close to home. So glad to have this spot in the neighborhood.

So fun! Paul is a die hard tiki fan and there is so much detail in this place. Atmosphere is very retro tiki and it’s like stepping into another world when you go inside. Food is great. I’m looking forward to trying more from the menu. We had fun.
