I called ahead of time to see if they had what I was looking for but they couldn’t understand me so I went in person. I didn’t find what I was looking for so I left. As I was already outside the liquor store I felt someone pull my hair / it was their worker accusing me of stealing. She proceeded to touch me, opening up my jacket (it’s snowing so of course I have on a big jacket). We ordered from Sobo liquors for a pre-wedding event, and we couldn’t have been happier! We shared how many people were attending and our preferences, and they did a great job helping us decide which drinks to include in our final order. When I picked our order up, everything was ready and cold. Also, the staff is always knowledgeable and friendly!

While not the final word on barrel aged stouts, the Goose Island Bourbon County bottles that release every year on Black Friday are a fun thing to track down, and something of a holiday tradition. So I was quite surprised, and a little shocked, to discover this year that SoBo “didn’t get any in” upon my recent visit and inquiry. Mark and his team are awesome! They have a great selection of premium beer, wine and spirits. The store is super clean and they have a great tasting area.
