I called ahead of time to see if they had what I was looking for but they couldn’t understand me so I went in person. I didn’t find what I was looking for so I left. As I was already outside the liquor store I felt someone pull my hair / it was their worker accusing me of stealing. She proceeded to touch me, opening up my jacket (it’s snowing so of course I have on a big jacket). While not the final word on barrel aged stouts, the Goose Island Bourbon County bottles that release every year on Black Friday are a fun thing to track down, and something of a holiday tradition. So I was quite surprised, and a little shocked, to discover this year that SoBo “didn’t get any in” upon my recent visit and inquiry. Mark and his team are awesome! They have a great selection of premium beer, wine and spirits. The store is super clean and they have a great tasting area.
