We visited in December 2025. From the outside, the place immediately catches your attention — it’s an interesting building with a lot of character. Inside, the vibe was good, but because of the large open space, it didn’t feel as cozy as you might expect from a restaurant. This is a good bbq place in downtown San Diego. The atmosphere is great and the food was really good. They have off brand foundation soda that was okay. The cornbread is amazing. I recommend the TV dinner because you can get your choice of meat and two sides. The potato salad looks different, but tastes like regular potato salad and the Mac and cheese is good, but not super cheesy. The 4.5 rating did not disappoint!!! We ordered the 3x2 platter and The Classic Pulled pork sandwich. The sides of choice we selected were the slaw, bean crack and pork belly - yummy!!!! So good! Great atmosphere, cozy, good music and comfortable upholstered bench seating. Our server, Myah, was top notch and provided stellar service and never stopped smiling 🙌🏽✨
Great ribs, great service, very nice house red to pair with smoked meat. Bonus - met a famous Olympic winner who is one of the owners !
The service from Josh was excellent. He is so friendly and the food was delicious. The brisket was super tender and the rib meat just fell off the bone. The beans were great and had pieces of pork belly. The Mac and cheese was creamy and the pickled onions added a great flavor to the meats. It was my first time going and will definitely be back for more.
