ShareHouse was the very first treatment I attend over eight years ago. I felt safe, accepted, and felt no judgment from anyone there. It has been a lasting positive experience for me. I was pregnant at the time, my six year old daughter that I had when I was 15, at the time was going through chemo treatment foe ALL Leukemia, and so ready for change. Dear Sharehouse Recovery Team, I am writing regarding a phone call I received from a staff member, Alana, concerning my brother and his absence past curfew. During the call, I identified myself as his sister and inquired whether staff were aware that he has been working night shifts. I asked what the curfew cutoff time was and whether any accommodations could be made given that he was at work and had already notified staff of his schedule. Can tell and feel that the staff very much care for the residents. They're busy all the time but it sounds like the place to go IF you really want to get help and can put up with some strict but CARING people and be patient
I couldn't recommend Sharehouse more if you're serious about getting sober/clean. As someone who's been through the program(290 days sober as of this review) it was by far the biggest tool to help me with my recovery. Please do yourself a favor and get the help you need that Sharehouse can provide.
It is a nice place but some of the staff are very rude my family was there visiting my fiance and the old man come storming in the visiting room screaming at us telling us our time was up and we had to leave scaring our children and making the oldest daughter who was there before us go sit in the cold truck with her baby til our time was up as we were eating out with her he did later apologize to my girl but not to all of us they also took my finances phone away from her because she was to sick from not having her meds cause... read more
