Rivareno Gelato is an excellent spot for high-quality ice cream. Prices are a bit higher than average, but the gelato is outstanding and well worth it. They also offer other desserts. The pistachio and coconut flavors are amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back often, and I love that they’re open late.
This place had the perfect and best pistachio gelato in Miami, until they open a second location in Coral Gables. The pistachio was creamy and tasteful with a beautiful green color….. now they have changed the formula…. It doesn’t taste the same , it lost is creamy texture and in top of that, is not even green, looks like brownish , and it’s flavor is a lot different from the original one. This is the freshest gelato I’ve had in the US. The flavours are extremely fresh and you can tell they made them with real ingredients. We tried the banana, dulce de leche, straciatella, strawberry sorbet, and cookies and cream. All of them were extremely good, I’d visit this place every time I visited Miami. It’s that good.
We stopped in for gelato and had a wonderful dessert. It’s was so good! Kim and Gio provided great customer service. The gelato is in the tins so you know it’s good. Anything else is sub par.
This was my second time at RivaReno and I got mixed feelings. In this occasion, I had their mango and double chocolate flavors. The mango was spot on, fruit was coming straight forward and it was creamy ad it should be, pretty delicious actually. On the other hand, the double chocolate was average. It was not creamy in my opinion, it was just buttery but not creamy. I know double chocolate flavors are usually made with cocoa that is higher in fat, but this one was really high.
