I purchased a $5,000 Rainbow system from Steve, the owner at Rainbow Play Systems in Waukesha, WI. Face to face his was extremely pleasant. The service was quick, I had my Rainbow within weeks of my purchase. My grandchildren love it. Rainbow has 3 types of wood that they use. For people who are looking for a less expensive set, you can purchase the middle of the road or the cheaper wood which turns grey. We bought a Castle playset & absolutely love it. From purchase to install and even after the service has been fantastic.
We purchased a high end set from Steve a very nice guy initially. Very pleasant to deal with. We have had the set since March and it looks like have had for 2 or 3 years of hard use. His response was it is only the stain for factory shipping and needs to be re stained every 2 "seasons" so realistically you only get 10-12 months of use out of them before needed to be pressure washed and stained. We had a great experience with Rainbow Playsets. The salesman was a very helpful guide, assisting us in finding all the right features that our 4 and 7 year olds would love now, but can also grow into. The installation was done by two very friendly, thorough guys who did an excellent job. The quality of the materials appears top-notch.
