This place isn’t perfect it was built in the 1950’s but I really appreciate it so much. Thank god for places that are still affordable and old school. You get physical keys at the office. The office staff were very helpful on our second day we decided to upgrade to ocean view. I don’t know why I didn’t get it to start with! Come prepared to clean your room immediately, it is a great location , balcony room view is perfect. Room was so dirty and was no bed bugs but it was horrible. Fridge wobbled , patio furniture had to be cleaned to sit in it and bathroom faucet had so much lime build up on it. Once cleaned up a lot, we were able to enjoy our stay. Hotel smells everywhere of weed and needs improvement everywhere , needs painted and cleaned. Budget friendly if willing to clean

This is our 3rd stay here, the first 2 times the stay was great no complaints at all! BUT THIS 3rd STAY, ABSOLUTELY NOT! Its actually been so unwelcoming & such a inconvenience that we will not be coming back. I can take 1 or 2 problems here or there but it’s been problem after problem since we got here! We checked in on Monday, mind you checkin is 4:00PM, we got here at 5:15PM & was told our room wasn’t ready yet & they would call me when it was. Great location, and staff was helpful at check in but that was last we seen of anyone. 10 day stay no housekeeping service at all. Be prepared to clean your room from top to bottom at check in , it was awful. I went and bought cleaning chemicals and mop and broom . Does have a kitchen Was helpful but we brought everything for it, nothing much was provided but a few cups and plates.i did not see any bed bugs or roaches and believe me I looked ! Was gonna give 1 star, but that's easy to remove. All in all this place is a terrible place to stay. We thankfully didn't get a room with bed bugs, we had a party of about 20 people. Had multiple rooms booked. They messed the rooms up because the hotel was overbooked, finally got into the right rooms and they were disgusting. Curtains have been up for at least 15 years, furniture was awful, there was sand all over the floors, the water pressure was very low the air conditioners were window units and they weren't even blowing... read more
