I read drastically opposing reviews after I booked my room. I booked a double queen oceanfront. I opened my door, first saw the Kitchenette and was hit with the ice cold air conditioning and it opened to a nice clean room. We recieved new towels and our trash taken out for us each day. They did come in and swap towels and trash even when we weren't present, which I didn't care for. I called down and asked them not to do that again and they didn't. This place isn’t perfect it was built in the 1950’s but I really appreciate it so much. Thank god for places that are still affordable and old school. You get physical keys at the office. The office staff were very helpful on our second day we decided to upgrade to ocean view. I don’t know why I didn’t get it to start with! The first room we had wasn’t that great but it was clean enough and I was just happy to be near the beach with my family. Well I feel like I’ve been scammed cuz when I saw the pictures of this place on Booking.com it didn’t look at ALL like the place I stayed. There’s a urine smell on the hallways, the constantly fear of something happening since someone tried to get into my room in the middle of the night twice. The lock that I thought was alright actually was broken, and talking with other people that were staying there they had the same feeling as me. Great location, and staff was helpful at check in but that was last we seen of anyone. 10 day stay no housekeeping service at all. Be prepared to clean your room from top to bottom at check in , it was awful. I went and bought cleaning chemicals and mop and broom . Does have a kitchen Was helpful but we brought everything for it, nothing much was provided but a few cups and plates.i did not see any bed bugs or roaches and believe me I looked ! Had two ocean view rooms for four nights. Each room came with a fridge, stove, oven, dishes, two beds, microwave, tv, Wi-Fi and of course a balcony. We arrived early and although could not accommodate an early check-in they gave us our parking pass so we could park and go to the beach until we could go to our rooms. Thank you to the front desk for that! They also went out of their way to get us an extra night without needing to change rooms. The rooms were very clean and had a beautiful view of the beach!
