Paperfish Miami is honestly one of my favorite hidden spots in Brickell. The food is always fresh and consistently delicious, and in my opinion, it’s not expensive at all for the quality you get. The vibe is super cute and laid-back—nothing overly fancy, which makes it perfect for a casual but still nice night out. Paperfish was amazing, there is seriously no words to describe how fresh and light these sushi rolls were. This place is an absolute gem! The service was also amazing, our waiter was great!
Came in for just drinks (loved the lychee martini? and ended up having some sushi aswell, we really enjoyed our time albeit short. Our server Sasha was very attentive and friendly and made sure we were taken care of, nice atmosphere for a good evening as there are bars within walking distance to continue the night.
paperfish sushi is one of my go-to spots in brickell and it never misses. the service is always quick, the food and drinks are consistently great, and the vibe is lively without ever feeling overwhelming. this time we each had the shiitake miso soup and shared the spicy tuna roll - both were excellent. on a friday night the atmosphere was buzzing, but our service was still fast and attentive. i've been here countless times and will keep coming back. it's an easy choice for sushi in brickell.
We enjoyed the happy hour. Reasonably priced drinks and food and quick service. I will note that the rolls were much smaller than the ones on the regular menu (which is expected). As well, it took less than ~5 mins to bring out happy hour items, but we waited close to 30 minutes for main menu items. My other complaint is that some of tuna/salmon crispy rice was almost rock solid. It was like biting into a cracker vs rice!
