We had a nice dinner at Paperfish Sushi tonight. The sushi was fresh and well-prepared, with good flavors overall. I especially enjoyed the crispy truffle fried rice – it lived up to the hype with great crunch. Service was friendly and efficient, and we liked the cozy vibe of the place. Made a reservation at Paperfish for 2 on a Saturday night. They were busy, but nothing crazy. We originally were seated right in between two other tables, basically one huge table. Asked to move and they gladly gave us a new table. Waitress came over and mumbled asking if we want still or sparkling…so we say still. Not knowing there was a tap option. Good mid-level sushi restaurant with vibrant outdoor street vibe. 4.4 rating. Everything is good, but not top tier. For food, I highly recommend the miso cod bites and the wagyu steak on hot stone. Both were excellent. Rest of the items were good but more average. Service was very friendly and casual. We sat outside - fun street dining vibe but crazy loud. Stasa was absolutely amazing! She was quick! Attentive! And brought my my club soda in a wine glass because I’m extra and she gets it 💅 ! I had the dragon roll and yakisoba noodles and they were amazing. Would highly recommend!

I love sushi, so I’m always marking new spots on my map to try out. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. Overall, everything was great and the food was really delicious! The only downside was that it took a very long time for our food to come out. Also, if you’re planning to go in the evening, I highly recommend booking a table in advance because it gets pretty busy. If you don't mind a bit of a wait, the food is definitely worth it!
