This place had good ratings and it didn't disappoint. Nice, friendly staff. Clean joint. Liked the 20 oz bar glasses - they just had a really solid feel to them (plus fill from the bottom for a perfect, foamless pour). The drink selection is fine if drinking, but don't overlook the food - I tried the Med wrap, which I thought was very good (chicken was flavorful, and liked the touch of avocado). I Love this family owned bar. They have great food and drinks with music. DJ’s on the weekends. Food I recommend is the steak sliders, Caesar salad, chop salad add grilled chicken, pretzel crusted chicken. They have their own special NV sauce you must try. I Will be returning.
Went for Happy Hour. Food and drinks were amazing at the HH price point. Birria Egg Rolls - 5/5 - I was skeptical after reading so many glowing reviews...but these did not disappoint. Would definitely order again Frites Street Fries - 5/5 - best fries I've had in a long time! Super crispy outside and amazingly fluffy inside Pretzel Crusted Chicken Tenders - 3/5 - flavor was okay, but they were pretty dry
Great food! The grouper sandwich was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. The chicken strips were more like patties and so crispy! Definitely worth a side order of them! All the drinks were very nice including the sangria’s. And I don’t like sangria. The Mixed Feelings drink was perfect! Buffalo eggrolls were a bit over flavored with buffalo but the birria eggrolls made up for it! The sliders were the most tender steak ive ever had. A bit on the higher end price wise but this is Chicago and is expected.
Great bar for simply grabbing a drink and/or watching a Bears game! John was an awesome bartender and made a fantastic rec for the burger!
