Came here with the Scottish Tartan Army to watch the World Cup and it did not disappoint. We drove all the way over from St. Pete for this one and didn't make it home until nearly 4 AM — what a great night, totally worth it. Crowd was nuts to butts — like, shoulder-to-shoulder, spilling into the street and eventually shutting down traffic level of packed — and the staff still ran it like a well-oiled machine. If you're going for Irish atmosphere and a pint, fine. The food is quite terrible. Ordered Irish breakfast and Blackbean burger. Mostly inedible. Borderline on disgusting. Left a huge table of untouched food. Not a single comment from the servers. My standards of customer service aren't high, but this was shocking.
The owner Mark, and his crew, are UNBELIEVABLE! For the World Cup between Scotland and Brazil… the place was packed tonight from wall to wall. The employees (Maria, Victoria, and the newbie of one week Naomi) KILLED IT!! They are like their “leader”… the “BEST OF THE BEST”!! They served this World Cup crowd with smiles on their faces….ALL NIGHT LONG!! Buckets of beer, with platters of shots and cold brews, through a crowd packed in like sardines!! And outside? Coming from ice cold Pittsburgh, PA and on our first day of vacation, Mickeys appeared to be a true beacon of light. Obviously, being an irish girl, I was drawn to the place in general.... But then... something extra special happened: the bartenders, Jessica and Fernando, proved to be the TRUE Stewards of Fun and welcoming energy!!! Thus, I HIGHLY recommend this place to any human who wants to hang out and gab with good people. Love yinz ❤️ srsly can't wait to come back
I absolutely love this place! They have a great selection of beers, and the food is simply delicious. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to spend time. I particularly enjoy going on Sundays when Ale is available, as it always seems to be a fun and lively atmosphere.
