I swapped my morning trail run for a lazy start and ended up at kimchi Korean bbq. I was actually craving Mexican food, but the long wait pushed me here—and honestly, I’m so glad it did! I definitely let my hunger do the ordering and ended up with a massive spread: Chicken Katsu and the Spicy Stir-Fried Baby Octopus with Pork Belly. Both were incredible. The spice levels were spot on, and every bite was packed with flavor. It was the perfect lunch, made even better by the super friendly staff.

If you’re looking for a genuine, flavorful experience in the Glendale/Phoenix area, Kimchi Korean BBQ is a must-visit. I started with the Steamed Kimchi Mandoo, followed by the Beef Bibimbap and a crisp green onion salad—everything was incredibly fresh and packed with that perfect Korean fusion punch. What a hidden Korean gem! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic — everything tasted just like what you’d get in Korea. The restaurant was recently remodeled from the old spot, and it looks fantastic inside — clean, modern, and welcoming. The service was top-notch; our waitress was super attentive and kind. The owner even came by to say hi, and we had such a great conversation — truly a wonderful person. We had an awesome time here and will definitely be back!

I didn’t know what to expect when my wife and I came here. First time having Korean BBQ. We ordered 2 appetizers and a main dish to share. Everything was fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Even the chop sticks was not wood and the same as having standard utensils.

Love this. It feels so much more open than the place before. The food was fantastic as well. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The bibimbap is the best!! My dad and my kid LOVED the ramen and my mum really enjoyed the bulgoli fries. And the cheesy corn was super yummy too!
