My first ever parlour visit in the US. My stylist for the day was Iris. I had lot of gray coverage for my hair. She and her supervisor did a short consultation for suitable hair color. Iris did a fantastic job. I am really happy and the color suits my skin tone. Highly recommended! We also had a good chit chat as part of getting to know each other. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. 5 stars for excellent service.
I had such an amazing experience at this salon! Patricia and Sokamarin ( THE BEST!!!) were kind enough to squeeze me in for color, balayage, a trim, and styling — and still took their time to make sure everything was perfect. The red tone they created is absolutely stunning — rich, vibrant, and full of dimension. It’s bold without being overpowering and has the most beautiful shine. I recently visited this salon to get my hair colored and asked for an ash brown shade. I was charged $250 for both a root touch-up and full hair color, and I didn’t realize beforehand that they would charge separately for the roots and the all-over color, which was a surprise. Unfortunately, the roots came out looking the same as my original color and didn’t change at all. It is not often that I leave a review for a beautician or a shop! I've lived in the Houston/Katy area for over 45 years and have visited many salons. But today's visit to Josephine's was 5+ stars! I was very pleased with this salon's atmosphere as well as their attention to each individual customer! I came in on Tuesday, November 4 just to inquire about a cut, and color. I’m actually quite nervous about hair salons. They had an opening that day so I went for it. This was due to Holly making me feel at ease during the consultation. Holly did an amazing job with the color, cut, and the style. She really knows her craft and listens to the client.
