I'm not a bar person so I enjoy being able to grab my carryout without too much delay. They took care of me as soon as I walked in, and the food was awesome! Will definitely be going back, I have 7 more gyros to try!
I wanted a dive bar but found so much more! Mediterranean Gyro was next level. nachos are superb. This little neighborhood bar is so much more ! Do it or you'll regret it!
Jimmy's North Star is a tavern that offers more than the typical bar food. Its got fresh ingredients and a lovely layout. The out door area is unmatched on the northside! The Gryos are amazing and the sandwiches are great too.
The food was excellent. My buddy and I were debating on what to get. He wanted 1 thing I wanted another. I suggested we each get something different and split them. The bartender overheard us and said, "So, you want those cut in half." Yes, we do.... Hot Italian sausage sandwich and a Mediterranean Gyro. Equally, they were both great. But then, take a bite of hot and finish with a bite of cold, Excellent!
Food was really yummy but all 7 of us felt sick that night/next morning after eating. :( We all had the gyros.
