I must admit, it's EXPENSIVE, but we had such a delightful night out with friends, celebrating our friend's engagement and their exciting move to a different state! It was a special occasion filled with joy. The food was a true highlight—I enjoyed open-faced Italian beef oxtail, which was simply incredible! Odd that such a great place is in a strip mall, but it was great! The crab hushpuppies were a *tiny bit salty, but the cauliflower is fire and the steak frites were amazing! Hubby had the beef and it was awesome! Small wine selection, but good offerings and I had the ruby slipper cocktail...x2! Will be back again soon!
Did the restaurant week special that had 3 courses. I was frankly scared of the chicken liver mousse on noble bread, but it was actually phenomenal. The new york strip was sublime, expertly cooked and every bite was a joy. This was the highlight of the meal for me.
