My family and I got to experience the Holiday Tea Service. It was wonderful! We got to participate in a 2pm seating - there were tea trays filled with sandwiches, cakes, and sweets. The service stuck to tradition, with enough food to munch on while we sipped on our hot tea, and enjoyed the caroling of the all girls choir. I did read some reviews that claimed that the swap from a buffet to a tea trays was a disappointment. I couldn't disagree more. I absolutely LOVE this hotel! The history that is preserved here is amazing and I’m obsessed with all the natural cherry wood. The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful. One even took us up in the old original elevator and it was a surprisingly smooth ride. The restaurant and bar in the hotel are great as well. We’re staying in one of the historic suites on the third floor and we literally have the entire corner of the building to ourselves. The location is also outstanding. Love this hotel when I come to Boulder. It can get pricey (mostly during football games and college events). The location, service quality of the rooms and ambiance are the best!

I booked this hotel through price line. There they said it was pet friendly. (No other info) Upon checking in, after speaking to the very condescending front desk person “Birdie” we found out there was a $100 pet cleaning fee, we were unable to cancel our booking. After getting to our room which wasn’t much bigger than a broom closet. I have to say, the stained carpet was a nice touch. There is a blonde woman w short hair and an accent who is the most incredible receptionist i've ever met ! The hotel was stunning and so enjoyable once you got used to the layout, and the main receptionist made the already great stay even better. Hotel is located near so many fun bars and shops and delicious restaurants, but the on site bar and restaurant were nothing shy of excellent. I was here for a professional conference and will absolutely be back when i can.
