I absolutely LOVE this hotel! The history that is preserved here is amazing and I’m obsessed with all the natural cherry wood. The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful. One even took us up in the old original elevator and it was a surprisingly smooth ride. The restaurant and bar in the hotel are great as well. We’re staying in one of the historic suites on the third floor and we literally have the entire corner of the building to ourselves. The location is also outstanding. The stay at Hotel Boulderado was absolutely lovely. Check in was easy and I was able to be accommodated earlier than 4:00, which was a nice perk. The staff took care of all questions and needs. There are two restaurants attached and both had great food and service. Downstairs was a really neat Lounge / Speakeasy vibes with live music on Thursday. I traveled to Boulder for the Bolder Boulder Memorial Day weekend. I expected the town and the hotel to be busy, and it was. I stayed in several different hotels during my Colorado trip. The Boulderado was by far the best and actually the best hotel experience I have ever had. The valet staff were the first to greet me with a warm and helping hand. I booked this hotel through price line. There they said it was pet friendly. (No other info) Upon checking in, after speaking to the very condescending front desk person “Birdie” we found out there was a $100 pet cleaning fee, we were unable to cancel our booking. After getting to our room which wasn’t much bigger than a broom closet. I have to say, the stained carpet was a nice touch.
