I have been a member unfortunately for the last 3 years due to an auto loan. After the auto loan was set up ,I opened up a checking and savings account. After paying on this auto loan and NEVER missing a payment for the last 3 years, I was placed on SSDI. When my car payment became more than I could afford on my SSDI monthly, I reached out to try for a lower payment. They wanted to lower it by only $20!! What in the heck is $20 going to do for me?? I have been with Heartland for 7 years after moving all of my accounts from a large bank. I understood the credit union difference immediately after opening my accounts. Great customer service and online banking app is top tier!

We've been members for decades, and have had nothing but great experiences with HCU. I had a few hiccups opening a new business account, and ANITA was so helpful!
