Myself and a group of friends have been coming here fairly regularly for trivia on Thursday nights. The food and atmosphere have always been good, but every time we come there's only one server on, so service is always very slow. Unfortunately it got to the point we started coming out less often because of that. We only ever see 1 server working, and it gets considerably busy during trivia. I wish they could add a second server to help out.
Stopped in for lunch after a funeral service the other day. They were not expecting a group of 12 for lunch. Jose was great! He took care of us in great time! The final bill wasn't bad either, of course some just had cocktails, or this huge slice of chocolate cake, or the lunch pizza and salad special. A couple of us had different pastas. All very good. Wanted to thank Jose for taking care of us, being such a big group, with no reservations! You made a hard day for us much easier!
This restaurant is located in a Holiday Inn. It's an old business which has grown up in the Twin Cities and has been very successful over the years. I expected to enjoy old classics on the menu. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The booths and chairs were uncomfortable. I did like the large TV screen showing the news. I thought the menu had a lot of good choices. After a poor experience, Jose the manager wanted to make things right so I gave them another chance. The mozzarella sticks were really good. The salad was very fresh and delicious! The burger was one of the best I have ever had! Definitely in my top 5. The chocolate cake was a dark chocolate fans dream. It pairs well with milk and is silky smooth. I look forward to coming back again. Thank you for making things right Jose.
