The deep dish pizza is really good here. The sauce is some of the best-tasting pizza sauce I've ever had. The crust is crispy and buttery. The other things I've had are decent, but the pizza stands out. The restaurant has a very nice view, as it is right on the lake and has large windows.
This restaurant is also connected to the Double Tree Hotel next door. Large sports bar kinda atmosphere. Great views of the lake. I'm sure its busy here during the summer. Good service. I had wings & a flatbread pizza. Both where good tasting & served hot.
The Green Mill is a great option for Classic pasta and pizza favorites, as well as some additional nice items to choose from on the varied menu. Our server and the staff were attentive and prompt with service. We had the Antipasto Salad, Cajun Steak Bites for appetizers, and a Philly Cheese steak. Come to Green Mill with friends and family, a great choice to savor some quality time with quality food!
2/14/2006 11:19 AM This is the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo without the bruschetta. I never said anything about adding chicken(like the menu said) because I am a vegetarian what showed up was Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The so-called waitress had no intention or interest in replacing my meal with the correct one. We had a extra large hand tossed pizza. The crust is soft and delicious and there were plenty of toppings. It was the perfect amount for 4, with no leftovers. Our waiter, Tre, was friendly and efficient. Even though it was very busy, we had fast service. I highly recomment the Pescara (hand tossed, special seasoned) crust.
