They use high-quality ingredients, and everything is super fresh. Some of the nigiri they serve are masterpieces. However, they skillfully undermine this wonderful gastronomic experience by playing loud, obnoxious hip-hop and reggaeton music. Also, for some mysterious reason, they have trained their chefs to act like amateur B-movie comedians. Gold Standard is a true Miami hidden gem! I went to celebrate my daughter’s graduation, and it was beyond perfect. The atmosphere curated by the chefs and servers was amazing; every dish was crafted with such care and flowed perfectly with the music. It captured that high-energy, late-90s Miami vibe that made the entire celebration feel electric. Gold Standard Sushi completely blew me away. Hands down the best omakase I’ve had in Miami and honestly one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Every course was perfect: insanely fresh fish, thoughtful pacing, and flavor combinations that actually surprised me in the best way. The Gold Standard is hands-down one of the best dining experiences in Miami. The space is absolutely stunning—modern, intimate, and beautifully designed. The sushi was out of this world, with every course more delicious than the last. The chefs are incredibly skilled and make the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. If you're into amazing food and a gorgeous setting, this place is a must.
