The class we took with Melissa was a one night class and it was great. Took my mom for mother's day and we had a great time. Well worth it. Melissa taught very well and was delightful.

My son has taken a few classes with FCS Clayworks. They have been so patient and accommodating for him as he is just learning the pottery wheel. We plan on taking more classes because he loves this place so much. He has learned so much in a very short amount of time!

My wife and I signed up for a hand building class one random day and the next thing we knew we had signed up for a wheel throwing class, gone to a slip casting class, and found ourselves making the drive to Garland (an hour plus drive for us) just about every chance we get. Joining John and the crew at FCS for a beginners class was a fantastic experience. He was excellent at meeting you at your skill level and the class itself was a great time. Plus having a finished product at the end is definitely a bonus. I would highly recommend if you even have a passing interest in working with clay!

I took the fundamentals clay class to finally check “pottery” off my list, and it was such a rewarding experience. We learned how to throw, trim, glaze, and hand-build, all in a welcoming, hands-on environment. Melissa is a phenomenal instructor…kind, incredibly talented, and genuinely supportive every step of the way. It was the perfect way to reconnect with creating something by hand instead of a keyboard.
