The cubano frito was BOMB!!!!!! the potato is so thin and crispy and adds the perfect texture to the sandwich. Highly recommend. We also got the pan con bistec and it was good! Added some of that hot sauce to the bistec and made it even better. The staff were super friendly and the prices are great! If you get a chance to stop by for a cubano frito I recommend that you do!
We were looking for somewhere chill to eat after the beach and little did we know El Rey De Las Fritas was the perfect spot AND we was right by the Calle Ocho strip!! Almost like diner vibes. We got some steak & eggs, empanadas, croquetas, & their Cubanito Steak Sandwich. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed the empanadas, the fritas, and the vaca frito. Everything was seasoned so well. The environment was also nice. Not overcrowded, but if you're a short girly like me the bar may not be the place to sit. Lol
Incredibly authentic little Cuban cafe where my server didn’t speak English, which i loved! I felt like i was in another country and made myself right at home. I had the frita especial con queso and it was delicious. The bread, the meat, the crispy fried potatoes, everything was 👌 I went back later and got coconut flan to go and the coco was very sweet but delicious. I would get the regular flan next time. I’m thinking about going back tomorrow.
