My first time ordering from any Detriot Coney Grill. Uber eats was on time and quick but food was is barely 1 star.. I did call a head before ordering and person I spoke to with just a couple of questions about the Philly etc didn't really seem in the mood to talk or want to answer my questions, he was more like why are you calling about this shit.. What a great find! Found this on a Google search and now recommending to others. There was a lot to choose from on the menu (including an award winning burger) but went traditional with Detroit Coney Dog. Two words: authentic and delicious! Dogs are brought in from Winter's Sausage Company in Eastpoint MI. Chili is amazing and the buns are fresh. Paired with one of their rotating craft beers (which I also highly recommend). Perfect lunch! We will definitely be back.
The food was awesome. The smokehouse burger was phenomenal onion rings, nice and crispy and the dessert is a must. It was so good. It was hard to get a picture before my husband started eating it. All three cheesecakes were great strawberry was the favorite.
my mom took me here in between our busy day for a quick lunch and we were immediately greeted by a kind gentleman (Mr. Beard). he got us sat and helped give us the run down of the menu and the most popular items (so many good options; my dream menu choices honestly). As a born and raised Detroiter that moved to Gilbert, I can’t say enough about this place. Wife and I came in on a busy Friday night, and were treated like family. Even though it was super busy, we were seated promptly and our server Carlos took care of us right away. The food made me feel like I was in Detroit (which is a good thing). Hani pita and Detroit style coney was as authentic as it gets. Can’t wait to come back and become a regular. Go lions!! Go green, go white!!
