I called in advance of the scheduled reservation to ask for a few accommodations and Jason was eager to help. We had 6 guests for a birthday gal's night on a Saturday evening. Yes, the restaurant is older, therefore it does have a lofty smell, but it did not deter the 5 star rating. The drinks were AH MAZ ING! My family and I had a great experience. Bryce was a great waiter and extremely kind. My food was a 10 outta 10. I would highly recommend going to eat here and enjoy the beautiful scenery and great music. 🎵 We will definitely be back!!! 🥘

Great dining experience with some excellent Irish selections. My one critique was the Irish stew was more of a soup, but the flavor and big chunks of roast beef were great. Very tasty side of Mac and cheese too. I got Chet's Old Fashioned which wasn't anything special but was a bit on the pricey side. They have a big selection of different "old fashions" would have liked to try some others. Maybe next time. Maybe more like a 4.5 experience, but I'll round up because the cool atmosphere, and flavorful food.

Enjoyed it so much I came back two days later with a bigger group of people! The Irish Stew was my favorite, my girls loved the mozzarella cheese sticks and the pretzel. Staff both nights were friendly. And the way they decorated for Christmas was a peaceful bonus! They let us eat dinner on the couch by the fire and Christmas tree while watching Rudolph and listening to Christmas music, truly encapsulated the feelings of Christmas joy! This is one of the best restaurants in the West End right now. Whether you work in the area or you’re visiting the Sixth Floor Museum, I highly recommend Chet’s for lunch or dinner. They have great lunch specials too! The salmon salad is a definite must, and the Holt’s Pot Roast Grilled Cheese is probably the best grilled cheese variation in the city since back in the day when Nick and Sam’s Grill had that grilled cheese with the sliced pears?
