I come to Brooklyn V’s semi regularly and have always really loved coming here because of Vinny, Riley and like honestly everyone who works here. The food is good. The service is great. They have wine. Like literally the perfect to grab dinner or lunch! The wings are great, I’m a huge fan of their pizza slices and I have favorite pasta dishes. Stopped by with my lady to grab a couple of slices. Upon entering we were greeted by a kind gentleman who offered us the menu and to take a seat. Pretty calm and has a nice NY/Italian vibe to it. We got a cheese pizza slice each and it was fantastic and fresh. This place does not get the recognition or hype it deserves. Pizza, service and environment was outstanding. Very clean and welcoming!! Definitely lucky to live nearby this pizzeria and will be our go-to spot.
Brooklyn V's at Gilbert/Germann. I crave a good chicken parm sandwich quite often, and BV's is one of the better ones I have had in the E Valley. What I liked about it, the chicken was pounded very thin, and coated with what appeared to be a Japanese panko bread crumb, it was tasty, and you can tell its not a frozen chicken strip pulled out of a box. Pizza is delicious but the effort put into the overpriced boneless wings was less that pathetic. #1. the wings aren't even covered in the sauce at all. #2. There is a damn hair on one of the wings #3. The wings look and tast like they have been sitting out all day nothing even close to fresh made. .very disappointing.
I just got take-out, so I can't comment on the service but the restaurant was busy and everyone that I dealt with seemed pleasant. The thin crust pizza, garlic knots and wings were good.
