It was a bit dingy and Boxcar is next to vape store which is next to a closed down Thai restaurant with only a few parking spaces. The vibe completely shifts once you walk inside though. 5 stars! I love that this is a place where you can feel totally comfortable coming alone or bringing a few friends. Marco is an amazing bartender who really adds to the friendly energy of the place and really knows his drinks. We loved the La Bu Bu house shots, the Butterbeer, and the Half Blood Prince. Grab the olives & marcona almonds while you're at it—they’re fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!
So cute So small So intimate Patrick is an absolutely amazing bartender. He is one of the 10 reasons we will commute from Arlington and come back often. Dont let the small space fool you. Service was quick and friendly. Amazing ambient and on-point music selection. Food was great and same was the mocktail. This is such a good find :)
This past Saturday was our second time to visit and both experiences were top notch. The food was fresh, hot , and full of flavor. The service is impeccable and the attention to detail is fantastic. They are truly crafting cocktails here - not just slinging bar drinks. The atmosphere is fun and light hearted and the music was perfect. We will definitely return and take friends with us !
