This place is simply awesome. Was wondering how many countless times I drove by this place and had yet to step inside... well, glad that we finally did so the other night. It's a wonderful combination of a restaurant/food counter, and a butcher/marketplace. $1 Tacos for taco Tuesday. Ample seating, super fast service, good tacos. The $1 tacos are ground beef, chicken fajita, and al pastor. We also got carne asada.
Cici & Emilywas Soo amazing. I honestly had the best experience ever because was my first time at a meat market so it was very intimidating but she helped me navigate the section and the meat butchers were so kind and very helpful . I love this place! However I bought menudo tripe the other day Honeycomb! I thought wow I’m getting a good deal $5.99 lb. The chunk pieces looked huge but boy was I disappointed. Started to cook the menudo an the pieces turned super small like little tiny cubes. I was like what in the world. Paid $32 for 5 lb but I had no menudo not sure how they make it look to good other than than it’s a lot of frozen water. Wonderful place just not to buy menudo.
This place was recommended to me by a waitress at a dinner I frequent. I got asada tacos, tamales and menudo. Absolutely delicious each thing that I got, it smelled amazing when I walked in so I knew the food would be good. Every one of the staff was so happy and nice on the market side and the restaurant side. Would most definitely be back to try other items.
