The parking was crazy but that isn't anything they can control. The pizza was so good. I missed Beau Jos.I had a bogo 2 lb pizza coupon. I used that and got a starry soda and boneless wings. I customized an Alfredo chicken pizza and turkey pepperoni pizza. The chicken alfredo pizza was the best. Yummy. Customer service was excellent. No greeting on exiting but they did when I entered. Extremely helpful staff, great drinks and this location nailed the best BeauJo's Pies we've had in a long time. Perfectly done crust! Will be back for sure. Matt and Syndey were wonderful servers! Hats off!!!
Disappointing Customer Service Experience I visited Beau Jo’s Pizza at the University location in Denver at 7:18 PM on December 26, 2025 and the customer service was extremely disappointing. I traveled from South Denver, passing many other pizza places, because I expected the experience to match the reputation and the significant amount of money I spent. Unfortunately, it did not. I was rather disappointed with this location. To me the pizza was not true "mountain pie" style, the Mac & cheese was very bland, and the ravioli dish only had maybe 7-8 raviolis and bare minimum prosciutto. Maybe I'm used to the Idaho Springs location but I didn't expect there to be this much of a difference.
The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The establishment is very clean. It is a sit down place but you order at the counter. My family has celiac disease and they were very accommodating to help with the menu. I love how they have the menu labeled to know what is not gluten free. While waiting for my pizza, I listened to the staff patiently walk others through the large menu. The pizza was delicious. I love that their gluten free crust is not super thin.
