We came to Angry Crab Shack in Acworth for the first time with friends visiting from out of town, and it exceeded expectations. One member of our group is a Louisiana native and was genuinely impressed by the food, which says a lot. We did the bottomless boil, and everything came out fast, fresh and flavorful. Salmon was great, the rest of my party enjoyed their dishes as well however I was only 30% pleased. Not bashing in any way this is just my honest opinion! The Salmon, as I stated, was great and cooked to perfection. The vegetables that came with it, broccoli and carrots, were tasteless and the carrots were undercooked! The garlic noodles were good but didn't seem fresh to me. I left this shack an angry crab! I thought the title was metaphorical. The floors were sticky, the front doors locked, and the man who served us was okay. Food came out significantly sequentially which made it awkward for the 1st person who finished. There was also a fried shrimp in my fried oyster basket 🤔 which was an unwelcome surprise. Atmosphere was especially poor with at some points no music, other points music blaring. The food was good but the experience was so off-putting that I can't recommend this place.

This is a very chill environment. I’ve been here twice. It doesn’t feel like a fast food restaurant (hurry up, eat and leave, we need this table) it’s a good vibe. I like the many specials they have, I will be going back on Monday nights. The food is very flavorful. I had my seafood boil on medium and it was tasty even without the kick. In addition, I had a chance to speak with the owner, he’s extremely passionate about his restaurant.
