I was browsing for a school to do the CNA course, so I randomly choose Allen school. I decided to go in and get registered but was told they no longer offered that course. I was introduced to the Medical Assistant Program which I accepted. I called and got transferred at least four times for someone to answer my questions on the course. The first woman who answered and asked for my name sounded like she would pass out on the phone dragging her words…Then, a young lady answered. She asked a lot of questions, which I couldn’t understand. She then explained and kept going on and on, and she got rude and hung up. I’ve seen from the other comments that this is normal. My time at Allen School was a wonderful and insightful experience; the Doctors that taught us had plenty of patience and took the time to make sure that we comprehended the information and also challenged us to excel in our greatest potential, you learn so many skills that are vital in the medical field. Allen School has definitely changed my life for the better. I wanted to find a school that was able to help me with my beginning steps for Nursing. I have learned so many new things about the medical field that i did not know. I walked into the Allen School Jamaica campus full of questions, afraid of taking this step, wondering if I was making the right decision, I was amazed by the way I was treated. From day one everyone was very nice, Mr. Brown cleared all my questions and gave me the last push I needed to start up.
